Responsibilities

Who are you?

As the Vice President of Product Marketing at Virgin Pulse/Health Comp, you will play a vital role in driving the success and growth of our organization by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote and sell our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with our company goals and objectives.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Develop and execute Product Marketing strategies: Lead the development of comprehensive Product Marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of Virgin Pulse's products and services. This includes understanding market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to position our offerings effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment in executing marketing campaigns. Collaborate in defining product features and benefits that resonate with our target audience.
  • Lead product launches and go-to-market strategies: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring effective communication and coordination across marketing channels. Define the product messaging, positioning, and target audience segmentation.
  • Market research and competitive analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings. Utilize this information to inform product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Team management: Build and lead a high-performing Product Marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and develop team members' skills and capabilities.

 

Supervisory Responsibility: Lead and manage a team of over 10, with three direct reports.

Client Marketing Senior Director (direct report) VP Activate Senior PMM (direct report) Platforms & TPA Senior PMM (direct report)

Qualifications

What you bring to the Virgin Pulse team

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful Product Marketing strategies in a B2B or SaaS organization.

  • Strong understanding of Product Marketing best practices, including market research, positioning, product launches, and sales enablement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $183,000-$215,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible target bonus as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
