About the Job!
The Vice President of Operations will oversee the operations for an extremely fast-growing technology and logistics demonstrating exponential growth potential. This person will be responsible for developing and successfully executing forward focused strategic plans, managing resources to achieve operational excellence, and exceeding the overall financial operating plan. Successful implementation and maintenance of an incident free safety culture is key to this operation.
Responsibilities:
· In collaboration with the Business Development department, ensure the supply of on hand drivers always exceeds client demands in all markets.
· Establish and implement organizational structures to ensure policies and procedures are within the boundaries established company policies.
· Establish strategic market position/service offerings for prospective clients in other market areas and states.
· Develop, direct, and monitor both short and long-term strategies in alignment with comprehensive profit and growth objectives for the company by providing strategic planning and forecasting.
· Ensure the overall safety, quality and performance, customer experience, and operations are within the compliance realm for both government regulations, and ADROIT safety standards.
· Collaborate and work alongside the Project Management team to identify and implement ADROIT’s full scale products; as well as third party product involvement as needed.
· Manage and grow the operations teams to their highest potential; evaluating performances, rewarding and coaching employees, resolving conflict in collaboration with senior management and HR, as needed, and addressing identified staffing needs.
Requirements:
· 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
· 4+ years of proven leadership experience in logistics or relevant discipline
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant years of experience in a professional role
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated success making data-driven decisions.
· Detailed ability to manage and grow multiple teams simultaneously.
· Proven ability to scale operations in a fast growth environment.
· Strong written/oral communication, including the ability to present confidently and demonstrate attentive active listening skills.
· Ability to travel up to 80%
