The VP, Enterprise Sales Development will be responsible for two critical functions within our organization. Firstly, you will be tasked with identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier sales professionals who possess the necessary skills and qualities to succeed in our industry. Secondly, you will take the lead in designing and executing comprehensive training programs to equip our sales team with the knowledge, tools, and techniques required to excel in their roles and exceed performance targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with the CRO, VPs of Regional Sales, and HR department to understand the hiring needs and requirements for sales roles.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to identify potential candidates through job portals, social media, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct thorough screening and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experiences, and cultural fit.
- Assist in managing the entire recruitment process, including interview coordination, candidate assessments, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
Sales Training and Development:
- Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for new hires and existing sales team members.
- Design the content with the EFW departments for the new salesperson orientation at Corporate.
- Develop training materials, presentations, and interactive sessions to cover sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
- Identify areas of improvement in sales performance through data analysis and tailor training programs to address specific skill gaps.
- Organize workshops, role-playing exercises, and sales simulations to enhance sales representatives' practical skills and confidence.
- Work with Company IT department to train on new technologies and enhancements to current platforms.
- Attend Estes Express regional and corporate training to present on EFW’s capabilities.
- Assist in collaborations with Estes Express sales reps and DSM throughout the US.
Performance Evaluation:
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of training programs and the progress of sales representatives.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to sales team members to help them reach their full potential and meet performance objectives.
- Collaborate with sales managers to identify high-potential employees and create personalized development plans for career growth.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8 years of experience in Transportation Sales and 5 years in Sales Training. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, internet, web-based, and job specific software applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other organizations, and the public.
- Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals; develop individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others' efforts.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
