Missing Pieces Support Group was organized by group of women who have experienced pregnancy losses ranging from first-term miscarriages to stillborns. We know the emotional and physical toll that this type of loss carries, and we are committed to helping others in this situation.
Our mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and offer support to grieving families by:
- providing informational resources,
- forming a mindful community that bridges the gap between similar support services
- providing a platform that gives families the opportunity to share their stories online.
This is a Volunteer Opportunity for anyone interested in donating their time to our non-profit, not a paid position.
The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining and managing websites and servers to meet user needs. They ensure the functionality, security, and efficiency of web infrastructure while optimizing loading speeds, fixing issues, and updating website content.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience/knowledge in managing non-profit or 501(c)(3) organizations
- Experience working collaboratively/effectively with governing boards and business/community partners
Knowledge/Skills Needed:
- Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer
- Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
- Familiarity with web standards
- Working knowledge of website management tools
- Proficient in Wordpress and Builder Beaver
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to generate creative ideas
- Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
Major Responsibilities:
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot servers
- Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity
- Debug pages and fix broken links or images
- Update website content and review SEO
- Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions)
- Address user complaints
- Route incoming event forms to the appropriate team members
