Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, New York, is seeking a full time Volunteer Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Reporting to the Vice President for Research and Grants, the Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for selection, management and training of volunteer members and overall day to day coordination of Parker's volunteer program to help contribute to the quality care provided to the residents and patients at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Position Qualifications:
- College degree in a related field
- Prior experience supervising volunteers; volunteer coordination in a healthcare/not-for-profit setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Prior experience working with the geriatric population preferred
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
