Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester County including emergency, transitional and permanent housing. Our services extend to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV/AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs, and others in need, including a special education preschool program.

Position: OMNIA Project Coordinator
Summary:
The OMNIA Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the OMNIA Project. The Project Coordinator develops and implements engagement and intervention protocols, manages partnerships, convenes the steering committee and tracks performance, data collection and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least three years of work experience related to substance use disorder and one year of supervisory experience.
- Candidate must have an understanding of homelessness, behavioral health, supportive housing, and low demand service models.
- Experience using Motivational Interviewing, SBIRT or similar evidence-based interventions to effectively engage people and move them towards recovery-oriented goals.
- CASAC or Peer Recovery Certification a plus.

OMNIA Project CoordinatorPrincipal Responsibilities:
- Design and implement protocols for engagement, data collection, and service delivery.
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision of direct service staff with a target caseload of 60-80 clients, ensuring quality and consistency of program services.
- Participate in client engagement and follow-up activities as needed to support direct service staff, including completing assessments for client housing packets.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of case documentation, including collection of intake, follow-up and discharge GPRA data.
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based interventions with fidelity.
- In consultation with evaluation team, review progress towards program targets and outcomes and modify interventions and approaches accordingly.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable funder, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain internal and funder reports.
- Convene and facilitate quarterly steering committee meetings.
- Manage community and governmental relations. Conduct community presentations and assist with the development of marketing plans; engage in community awareness and recruit possible interns.
