Role Description This is a volunteer remote role for a Board Member at R.E.V.I.V.E. The Board Member will be responsible for attending board meetings, collaborating with other board members, and providing guidance and support to R.E.V.I.V.E.'s mission and vision. Additionally, the Board Member will be expected to engage in fundraising and advocacy efforts in support of the organization.

Qualifications Strong commitment to the mission and values of R.E.V.I.V.E. Demonstrated experience in non-profit governance, management, or leadership roles Strong communication skills, with experience working on cross-functional teams Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in strategic planning, marketing, finance, or legal is a plus Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

Duties
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the organization as a member of the Board of Directors.
- Actively participate in board meetings, committee meetings, and other board-related activities.
- Collaborate with other board members to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, as well as the organization's mission and values.
- Support the organization's fundraising efforts by leveraging personal networks and connections, attending, and paying dues.
- Assist in the development and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Help oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Contribute to the recruitment, selection, and evaluation of executive staff members.
- Promote the organization's mission and programs to stakeholders and the community at large.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, preferably on a nonprofit board or similar governing body.
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit governance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and written communication.
- Proficiency in using technology platforms such as Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or other donor management systems.
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise staff members or volunteers.
- Experience in training development or facilitation is a plus.
- Background in social work or related fields is desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with social media management for organizational promotion is a plus.
