Prior experience on a Board is helpful but not required. Girls on the Run is a program where volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships and expressing empathy.
Please note that this is a volunteer position. Board members are expected to serve a minimum term of two years.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the organization
- Attend board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes
- Review and approve organizational policies, budgets, and financial reports
- Monitor the organization's performance and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and other public forums
- Collaborate with other board members and staff to develop and implement strategic plans
- Support fundraising efforts and contribute to donor cultivation and stewardship activities
- Engage in board development activities, including recruitment, orientation, and training of new members
- Act as an ambassador for the organization, promoting its mission and values
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
