Share your talents and skills to make an impact. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about the mission of Girls on the Run and eager to make an impact on their community. Prior experience on a Board is helpful but not required. Girls on the Run is a program where volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships and expressing empathy.
Please note that this is a volunteer position. Board members are expected to serve a minimum term of two years.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the organization
- Attend board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes
- Review and approve organizational policies, budgets, and financial reports
- Monitor the organization's performance and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and other public forums
- Collaborate with other board members and staff to develop and implement strategic plans
- Support fundraising efforts and contribute to donor cultivation and stewardship activities
- Engage in board development activities, including recruitment, orientation, and training of new members
- Act as an ambassador for the organization, promoting its mission and values

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
