Status: Startup seeking founding Board of Directors
Contract Rate: $25/hour
Job Description: Moehnke Training Academy is currently seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our founding Board of Directors. This pivotal role will contribute to the strategic leadership, governance, and oversight of our academy that specializes in a diverse range of training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the academy’s operations and growth.
- Ensure the academy’s commitment to high-quality training standards and practices.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Engage in fundraising and development activities to support the academy’s goals.
- Advocate for the academy’s mission and programs within the community and industry.
- Evaluate and advise on the design and implementation of training programs.
- Monitor and assess the academy’s impact, effectiveness, and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in a governance role, preferably within a training or educational environment.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: driving, boating, firearms, archery, combat sports, military tactics, outdoor survival, architecture, event management, product manufacturing and distribution, sports facility management.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to the academy’s mission and values.
Assets:
- Possession of a driver’s license, boating license, firearms license, or certifications in archery, combat sports, or military tactics.
- Experience in outdoor survival.
- Background in architecture, event management, product manufacturing and distribution, or sports facility management.
