Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining store displays to make products visually appealing to clients, while remaining alert to sales and service. Maintaining a mindset that all actions, behaviors and responses reflect a sales maker versus a sales taker.
Position Expectations:
▪ Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays with all small goods that lead the customers through the entire store.
▪ Understand inventory (large and small) owned and where it is located
▪ Replenish the showroom when needed as per sales and other factors.
▪ Work closely with Visual Manager to ensure all vendors are well represented in the showroom and there is a plan of action with incoming furniture
▪ Responsible for landing all small goods newness that arrived to the warehouse.
▪ Be proactive and present ideas to maintain the showroom looking fresh and well-styled.
▪ Provide a positive customer experience, being confident, intuitive, and directive
▪ Partner with Visual Manager when large scale furniture is sold and significant quantities of merchandise need to be relocated and reset.
▪ Collaborate with the Visual Manager on setting and styling large-scale vignettes.
▪ Re-stock and re-style merchandise daily as items sell off the showroom floor.
▪ Responsible for back stocking all small goods and communicating to the Sales Team where its located.
▪ Partner with the receiving team on how specific vendors are tagged
▪ Producing and updating signage for any special promotion or product knowledge throughout the showroom.
▪ Create, revise and share merchandising ideas with Visual Team.
▪ Stay “in the know” with current design trends
▪ Participate in vendor presentations and stay educated with product knowledge so you can effectively assist clients.
▪ Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in all tasks and procedures to support the Sales Team.
▪ Listen attentively to the customer and acknowledge their concerns and needs
▪ Follow inventory procedures
▪ Gift wrap as needed
▪ Complete projects and tasks accurately and on time
▪ Remain flexible to support the needs of the business

Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of design/ furniture retail sales experience preferred
- Proficient in Mac Operating Systems, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Passion for design
- Results-oriented
- Collaborative Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items, up to 15 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around the floor, stock room, and cash wrap
- The position entails prolonged standing

Pay: $19.14 - $23.06 per hour
