Visual Merchandising Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for developing the concepts, organizing the item procurement and ensuring the successful release and maintenance of the "Coordination" collections in the stores.

1. Develops and implements annual Coordination Collection program to support the corporate objective of being a lifestyle store.
2. Collaborates with the Buying team to ensure items are bought in a timely manner and in adequate quantities to ensure the successful roll-out of the Coordination Collections.
3. Reviews and analyzes sales performances of the Coordination Collections against sales forecasts to determine effectiveness in a timely manner.
4. Researches and proposes missing items and item groups as necessary to improve the Coordination Collections to the Merchandising Manager.
5. Research competitor products, in-store presentations and other visual elements on a consistent basis.
6. Collaborates with the Buying team to stay updated on new products and release dates.
7. Assists in developing a floor plan for each Aki-Home store and implements updates weekly.
8. Proposes systems and procedures to maintain in-store visual presentation standards for the company.
9. Conducts periodic training for store employees about the visual standards of the company.
10. Assist in planning visual-related projects (Advertisements, POP, Campaign Signage Store Openings, Store Remodels etc.) as assigned
11. Oversees photo shoot of merchandise and lifestyle collections for Online and Campaigns.
12. Schedule and manage weekly store push.
13. Assist Merchandising and Store teams in tasks and projects as needed.
