We are looking for a Director of IT / Operations who will plan, design, and build all aspects of Kalibri's IT, security, and operations infrastructure. The director will work closely with engineering, analyst, and data teams to provide a secure, highly available platform to support a continuous deployment pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations, guidance, and cloud-based architecture to achieve business objectives
- Manage IT and Operations staffing to include recruitment, coaching, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
- Establish a communications strategy to ensure senior leadership awareness of IT planned and unplanned events
- Develop business justification for IT spending plan and forecast
- Responsible for managing IT tool acquisition, vendor relationships, and administration in accordance with budget
- Build and execute an infrastructure plan with project milestones to achieve SLAs against growth plans
- Provide infrastructure, guidance, policy management, version control, and automation support for cross-functional product teams to build and manage a secure continuous deployment (Software Development Life Cycle) SDLC
- Establish security best practices in compliance with AICPA SOC 2 to include “shift left” vulnerability remediation programs, disaster recovery, and 0-trust architectures
- Manage the Kalibri helpdesk service against published SLAs to include onboarding / offboarding, troubleshooting, and hardware RMA. Administer secure MFA-based identity access to company resources
- Build observability throughout the product and pipeline. Detect and alert on issues before they impact customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years experience designing, building and managing operations infrastructure, IT service, and DevOps deployment pipelines
- Candidate will have extensive experience in site reliability engineering and/or devops engineering
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks
- Expertise with AWS cloud-based services
- Demonstrated experience with automation technologies to include ansible, terraform, chef, and/or puppet
- Experience working with observability platforms such as datadog, new relic, or logz
- Extensive experience working in agile team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Salary - $130,000 - $140,000
Eligible to participate in the company bonus program
