Job Description:

A Vision Therapist is an emerging profession where you help children and adults (most of our patients are children) overcome vision problems impacting their ability to perform well in school, work, and life. Vision Therapy is akin to Physical Therapy for the eyes. Your specific responsibilities will include working one-on-one with patients to treat vision conditions using the most advanced visiOn therapy techniques, writing reports, and some testing.

Rigorous Employee Selection Process:

• Individuals must be able to learn medical/technical information very quickly (an aptitude test will be given during the interview process). Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred but not required if an individual can demonstrate the ability to learn large amounts of information over a short period of time.
• Individuals must feel comfortable with math and talking to patients in person and over the telephone.
• Individuals must have clerical skills and knowledge.
• Individual must have the ability to quickly adapt and be cross-trained through different roles in the company.
• Individuals must have an instinctively empathetic, people-oriented disposition.
• Individual must be a team player and enjoy working with others
• The individual must be an initial working self-starter.
• Individual must be able to respond well to constructive feedback
• Individual must have execellent time managment and patience.
• Individual must meet all deadlines for assigned tasks by manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
