Job Summary
The Video Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative output, including content creation through videography, production, editing and digital distribution. Their core responsibility is to work closely with the Media Manager to develop and execute high-level video strategies from conceptualization to completion. The Video Specialist possesses knowledge of the latest video and technological trends, the ability to use metrics to shape strategy, and drive craft best in class visual experiences acrossour marketing platforms.

Essential Job Functions
• Film, edit and produce video content for internal and external use.
• Produce, film and edit engaging, short-form video content tailored for social media platforms, prioritizing timely topics and trends while supporting larger Media Manager with brand initiatives.
• Manage and maintain team video equipment.
• Manage and oversee the organization of digital assets, including video and multimedia content, ensuring efficient cataloging, storage, and retrieval aligned with project and organizational needs.
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
• Create proposed storyboard drafts of the video to present to internal partners.
• Work independently to produce digital and social media content (video) that promotes Kisco’s core value proposition, increases consumer engagement, and driveawareness to our products and services.
• Responsible for developing strategic video plans specific to each community.
• Identify and create relevant content that is a resource for our audience.
• Collaborate with the Media Manager on the video needs of communities.
• Offers strategic content creation insight to communities, while actively seeking out opportunities to maximize the use of video content across digital channels.
• Be flexible to take on special projects and adapt to the business needs of each community and/or the larger organization.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Education/Experience/Training
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in, Videography, Marketing,
Communications, or related field
• Experience owning video projects from conception to completion.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Successful track record of producing and shooting content for performance marketing ads on digital media channels
• Highly creative, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong writing, creative, strategic, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Aftereffects and/or Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve
• Knowledge in working with standard and LOG footage from various codecs including an understanding of data ingestion and post-production workflows.
• Experience in the logistical aspects of video production, including coordinating schedules, managing call sheets, and developing shot lists for short-format projects.
• Experience with industry-standard camera systems, lenses + stabilizers like Sony FX3, Canon R5C, gimbals, camera rigs, sliders and jibs.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative team player
• Passionate about both traditional and short video formats
• Understanding of today's media landscape and how people engage with advertising

This position pays $65,000-$70,000/year based on experience.
