Role Purpose
Supports the Manager of Projects - Regional with involvement in selected projects and pursuits/proposals within a Region, as DPE and Sponsor. The Program Lead has an operational focus to ensure successful project outcomes for continued company growth and success.
Key Accountabilities
Governance and oversight of selected major projects and ability to influence successful project performance
Actively engages/supports other specific regional projects in collaboration with regional management needs
Engages in strategy, key accounts, pursuits and proposals for major projects
Actively participates in team selection/appointment of key resources for major projects. Pulls resources from GDP and regional business
Alignment with the Regional business and personnel on strategy and delivery
Develops strong customer relations, acts as project sponsor/participates in customer stewardship meetings
Metrics & KPI's
Performance of Major Projects - GM, DSO, Safety, Progress, Productivity, Customer Satisfaction
Key Requirements
Desired Experience: At least 25 years of experience in project execution. Acted as an Project Director on a Major/Mega Hydrocarbon project(s). MMM is a plus as is Offshore or Module experience.
Construction experience required and should have experience in FEL 2/3 and detail design. Experience in both project initiation and project close out.
Understanding of commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Reimbursable, etc.
Experience of successfully engaging with client executives, senior management and other key stakeholders
Network of high level key client contacts and credibility/ability to enhance customer relationships
Strong commercial acumen and experience in all commercial contracting models/risk profiles and project scopes/phases (FEL/EPC/EPCM & Lump Sum/Fixed Price/Target Price/Reimbursable, etc)
Motivational, collaborative, and visible presence in leadership style and strong communication skills with ability to develop high performance culture. Skill and ability to manage outcomes by influence
Ability to mitigate risks effectively through positive decision making
