Provides program leadership, planning and administration in managing the Patient Care Program. Includes operation & supervision of the Patient Care program, program development, continuous review and general effectiveness of enrolled students. Responsible for maintaining and developing accreditations, coordination of scheduling classes, enrollment, instruction, student advising, student recruitment and retention, marketing, developing clinical sites, and maintaining appropriate records. Responsible for maintaining and developing experiential and clinical sites. Includes curriculum and instructional development, assessment functions to include student and program learning outcomes.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsA high level of professional skills in teaching adults is required. Knowledge of principles/procedures pertaining to higher education. Thorough working knowledge of standards, policies, and accepted protocol of responsible area; program assessment, advising students and cooperate with division/department in recruiting & retaining students. Knowledge of college mission, goals and objectives. Ability to supervise and coordinate staff activities. Effective communication skills (written/verbal). Commitment to teaching and learning process. Ability to establish good working relationships with a diverse student body, faculty, staff, businesses and others in the college community.Additional Comments
