Position Overview:

As the Head of Productivity Engineering at ZoomInfo, you will be responsible for drastically improving the productivity of our engineering team, on top of an already efficient basis. As a result of your success, our customers will be more satisfied as they will be getting more impactful outcomes at a faster pace and our engineers will be more satisfied as they will be operating in a more collaborative environment with the best resources. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation within our engineering teams as well as how we collaborate with our partners in product management, product marketing, user experience, and customer support.

You will lead a large team of engineers, distributed across North America, EMEA, and India, and focused on developer experience, quality engineering, and technical solutions for customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for Productivity Engineering aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Translate strategy into execution by developing and executing quarterly roadmaps with clear KPI's.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline software development, testing, and deployment, aiming for greater efficiency and shorter development cycles.
• Tooling and Automation: Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge tools and automation solutions that empower engineers to work more effectively and reduce manual tasks.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across engineering, product management, and other departments to ensure alignment on productivity goals.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of Productivity engineers & managers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive continuous improvement.
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to measure the impact of Productivity initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making. Develop internal engineering productivity systems and survey metrics and dashboards. Use both qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine priorities and measure effectiveness.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role within a software company.
• Expertise on engineering productivity and knowledge of the latest research and industrial practice on the topic.
• Experience working with productivity tools and automation solutions that empowers engineers to work more effectively and reduce manual tasks.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in implementing automation and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of development environment, tools, workflows in distributed cloud computing and microservices architectures.
  Experience in operationalizing Dev Productivity Metrics will be a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and lead a team towards a common goal.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful execution.

The US base salary range for this position is $300,000 to $400,000 + variable compensation + benefits.
