The Role
With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, theVice Presidentof Planning & Corporate Developmentwill be responsible for leading the long-term planning, financial forecasting, and business analysis processes for all the businesses that operate under TotalMed Holdings. The Vice President will work cross functionally with all businesses to deliver comprehensive financial projections, supporting analysis, performance reporting and improvement initiatives. The role requires a thorough understanding of financial reporting, including financial statements and key financial/operational metrics. He/she will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will interact frequently with Executives across the Company.
What You’ll Be Doing
Long Term Planning / Annual Profit Planning:
- Own the long-term multi-year planning process including setting financial goals and expense targets for business partners.
- Lead the development of an enhanced annual financial profit planning model that is clear on business drivers, simple to understand, and that reflects the economic management of the business.
- Partner with stakeholders across the entire organization to develop thorough knowledge of all plans and consolidate financial projections.
- Support our business units by providing scenarios and analyses to make decisions throughout the planning process.
- Prepare Executive level presentations and support materials for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) business meetings as well as external relationships.
P&L Forecasting/Business Analysis:
- Lead the monthly forecast process and prepare financial reporting and supporting analyses for executive review.
- Engage with business partners across the organization to understand and explain all substantial plan/actual results and forecast changes to the ELT.
- Support the CFO by providing forecasted financial statements, earnings guidance models, and earnings scenarios as well as related cash flow views.
- Develop a comprehensive, reliable, and trustworthy financial/business dashboard that provides insightful performance review on a continuous basis across a diversified group of related business units.
- Own the creation of ad-hoc analyses for senior management. Deliver accurate, insightful, “Executive Leadership Team” analyses while ensuring tight deadlines are always met.
- Proactively develop new, and enhance existing, reporting tools to provide senior management with more insight into the business and to enable timely, informed decision making.
Working Capital Management/Banking:
- Actively manage our working capital cycle and cash management.
- Develop strong partnering relationships with financing groups.
- Monitor/manage debt service, covenants, and other requirements.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Conduct competitive and market assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence as required on mergers or acquisitions.
- Lead the integration of selected business combinations.
Special Assignments:
- Take on special assignments as required.
People Management:
- Recruit, coach and develop a streamlined, high performing team to maximize performance and value addition to the company while maintaining high morale.
- Drive standardization of finance activities and scalable routines, including development of training guides and work instructions. Provide backup coverage as needed.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement (preferably in an analytical field such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.).
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive, relevant experience with demonstrated success at increasing levels of responsibility in all areas of the role.
- Ideal candidate would have a combination of professional service (e.g., consulting, investment banking) and internal management (e.g., FP&A, strategic planning, Corporate Development) roles.
- MBA degree preferred.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
- The estimated base pay for this position is $175,000.00/ Annually.
- Base pay will vary based on internal equity, candidates' skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. TotalMed offers a comprehensive benefits package.
