The Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions will lead all aspects of the acquisition and divestment process in support of the Corporate Growth and Impact Strategy.  This role will build a pipeline of potential acquisitions through industry relationships and investment banker networks that align with the organizational growth strategy and business needs. This leader will lead the entire acquisition process from start to finish including identifying targets, due diligence, deal negotiation, and deal closing.  They may also play an active role in integration. 

What you'll do:

  • Work with CEO and EVPs to develop and refine Schreiber’s M&A strategy in alignment to the Growth and Impact Plan.

  • Participate in analysis of market trends, competitor activities and industry landscape to identify an acquisition pipeline of potential targets.

  • Lead the end-to-end acquisition process (due diligence, deal negotiation, and deal closing).

  • Identify divestment potential and lead the process to explore external interest and assess value

​Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10+ years of work experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategy, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience and proven track record of success in execution in highly complex work environments
