Job duties:

  • Provides indirect leadership to Commercial Lending department by overseeing and leading crucial aspects of Treasury Management
  • Supports the Senior Vice President Commercial Lending and senior management as needed.
  • Provides input to supervisor as to department needs and other forward-looking information that will contribute to the long-term good of the credit union.
  • Monitors risk and other economic conditions, market changes, and regulatory changes, which may significantly impact commercial lending
  • Manages the implementation of Treasury Management products and services so they are accessible to new and existing credit union commercial members
  • Designs member-centric Treasury Management solutions and provides consultative expertise.
  • Develops sales proposals and pricing pro-formas for existing and prospective commercial members in an effort to develop and strengthen member relationships
  • Track activities and timeliness to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Finds a successful balance between achieving individual productivity, job performance, and service goals while maintaining a positive, team-based experience within the Commercial Lending business unit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business, finance, or accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of five to seven years' experience in treasury management implementation and or sales is required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash manager (CCM) designation preferred.
  • Knowledge of account analysis and treasury management pricing required.
  • Understanding of payment and receivable process required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve a problem.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
