Continental Properties is looking for a Vice President of Capital Markets to join our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
The Vice President of Capital Markets identifies and originates new streams of equity/capital for us and serves and an vital role on the investor relations team. Your primary responsibility is the expansion of Continental's new equity investor base for development and income fund opportunities.You will report to our Vice President of Investor Relations and work collaboratively alongside your peers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and uses an active dialog with contacts identified as attractive private equity leads and influential referral sources for new equity leads
  • Build and leverage a network of referral sources in the Capital Markets including private equity firms, investment banks, commercial bankers, and any additional sources.
  • Develop and articulate in-depth knowledge of the strategy and business plan for each of Continental's businesses, the structure of investment vehicles, the financial markets and economic drivers
  • Advise clients throughout the development and stabilization investment process of their investment needs by being a liaison between the investor, our internal investor relations service area and different departments in the organization
  • Meet assigned goals for new private equity sources and investments
  • Help coordinate internal and external marketing campaigns, presentations and documents
  • Represents the investor relations area in the sales and RFP process by presenting up-to-date statistical information

Skills for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Series 7 License required (within six months upon hire)
  • Ten plus years of related financial services experience, strong preference for private equity experience
  • Real estate background a plus
  • Sales experience with prospects in markets which do not overlap with Milwaukee
  • Travels as necessary to attend industry conference and events to build awareness of Continental
