We're at an exciting turning point and we're searching for a VP of Marketing who's ready to roll up their sleeves and guide us into our next phase of growth. We've built a solid, respected brand within the cybersecurity community, and now we need a hands-on leader to amplify our voice and elevate our presence. We’re looking for a leader to harness our research and insights, stir up engaging conversations, and build a marketing strategy that will bolster the bottom line and help us hit our pipeline targets.
Who You Are and What You’ll Do
Reporting to the CGO, Gwen Castro, the VP of Marketing will lead the charge in developing a collaborative and innovative team, directing a multifaceted strategy to expand our market influence and drive substantial pipeline growth, and solidifying our place as thought leaders.
Responsibilities
Pipeline Growth: Spearhead efforts to generate $10M in pipeline, aligning with sales to deploy account-based marketing strategies for key accounts. Craft and execute targeted multi-channel campaigns that position Bishop Fox as an educational leader, setting the stage for effective sales conversations.
Client Expansion: Actively support cross-sell and expansion opportunities within our existing client base, understanding their evolving needs and how our services can continue to provide value.
Service & Product Launches: Lead the launch of new services and products, crafting and executing a strategic vision for market positioning and messaging. Ensure alignment with market demands and strategically position Bishop Fox in the market, emphasizing our unique value and transformative service impact.
Content Leadership: Oversee a content program focused on developing thought leadership and research content. This content should not only support sales and marketing efforts but also drive brand awareness and engagement and establish Bishop Fox as the leader in the offensive security space.
Brand Awareness: Collaborate closely with the executive team to craft and refine Bishop Fox's brand narrative, ensuring it encapsulates our mission-driven approach and distinct market position. Leverage various channels and platforms to amplify our story and increase our visibility among target audiences.
Sales Enablement: Manage the development and refinement of sales materials like pitch decks, case studies, and product sheets, aligning them with marketing strategies to aid the sales cycle. Collaborate with Sales teams to develop a comprehensive enablement plan, including training, tools, and content to boost sales productivity.
Your Experience
15+ years of experience in B2B tech marketing, with at least 5 years leading product marketing or go-to-market programs for an enterprise product or services company; cybersecurity experience preferred.
Proven experience in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
Proficiency with Marketo and Marketo Measure, leveraging these tools to drive marketing success and measure impact.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and narrate an accurate performance story.
Ability to drive strategy while also being willing to roll up your sleeves to address team gaps and hands-on needs.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively push back when necessary and ensure marketing strategies align with overall business goals.
Successful execution of brand strategies that have resulted in increased brand awareness and growth in market share and revenue
Executive-level strategy and presentation skills with the ability to influence strategic direction and articulate performance effectively to internal teams, partners, and the board of directors.
Experience with high-growth environments and proven experience building high-performing teams.
