Profile – who we’re looking for…
- Someone with 7+ years of experience preferably in a growing/scaling organization and/or an organization with similar mission, vision, values and leadership structure.
- Experience working directly with organization founder / entrepreneur.
- Someone who has been a department of one and can transition from “in the weeds” to strategic conversations among a leadership team with experience reporting to CEO.
- Keen ability to connect the dots for self and others.
- A strategic thinker who knows how to execute.
- Experience building talent programs; recruitment, onboarding, performance, development.
- Strong financial / business acumen.

Responsibilities
- Provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations.
- Responsible for setting, enforcing and evaluating legally compliant HR policies, procedures and best practices and identifying / implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
- Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s HR and talent management functions; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Researches, develops and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the talent functions of the business; responds to issues related to compensation and benefits questions, concerns and issues.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety and other laws, regulations and requirements.
- Manages the organization’s staffing/operating budget and related HR expenses.
- Prepares job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and manages the employment process.
- Facilitates new hire orientation and ongoing training of existing employees.
- Monitors employee performance / supporting development / performance concerns / skilling up.
- Monitors and reviews the ongoing engagement and satisfaction of the workforce.
- Maintains payroll and benefit administration updates and communication to employees.
- Ensures accurate / proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic / digital format.
- Company culture and community engagement ambassador. Researching associations, community organizations, etc. to align with and best support the mission of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
