Job Posting: Vice President of Growth
Skylark, a leading organization dedicated to spiritual growth and community engagement, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Growth. This role is pivotal in expanding Skylark's impact through strategic church partnerships and aligning our mission with the values and goals of potential partners. We are looking for a leader who can harness the power of relationships to foster spiritual outcomes and growth, with a special emphasis on developing church partnerships. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional capability in supporting the CEO in vision casting and fundraising efforts.
Skylark's Vision and Mission:
- Vision: To grow the family of God in depth, number, and intimacy.
- Mission: To make disciples of Jesus by partnering with local churches to operate excellent, gospel-integrated camps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement partnership strategies that resonate with Skylark's annual Strategic Plan.
- Spearhead the identification and cultivation of church partner relationships, passionately communicating Skylark's vision and mission.
- Oversee lead generation and relationship development, guiding potential partners through our sales pipeline and evaluating opportunities for strategic growth.
- Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships, ensuring they align with Skylark's core values and objectives.
- Actively assist the CEO in vision casting and fundraising initiatives, contributing to the broader strategic goals of Skylark.
- Focus on spiritual impacts that align with Skylark's mission. Lead your team in Christ-centered ministry, engaging in prayer, scripture-based counseling, and equipping the team for effective ministry, including evangelism and discipleship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in church staff roles or significant volunteer experience.
- Understanding of theological diversity within ecumenical settings.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience with camp staff.
- Experience in sales, networking, or related fields, with a focus on fundraising.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Theological studies certification or seminary training.
