Vice President ofFinance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)The OpportunityReporting to the President, the Vice President for Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible and accountable for all financial modeling, budget planning, financial analysis, financial controls and management, and financial strategy across the University. The CFO works closely with the President and university leadership to develop strategies and drive organizational change, including alignment of existing resources and identification/development of new revenue sources, to achieve the University's goals.Qualities and CapabilitiesBachelor's degree required, advanced degree in finance or related field preferred.At least seven years' experience leading financial and accounting functions at a senior level in a complex organization.Strong aptitude for financial analysis, financial model-creation, and hands-on metrics management.Business acumen to interpret data into business insights and provide strategic guidance.Proven track record for visionary leadership during organizational growth and demonstrated success in driving change in complex organizations.A demonstrated strategic mindset, including excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Proactive leadership ability with crisp, concise communication skills.Track record of building, developing, and leading strong teams.An open, collaborative, and engaging management style that builds strong relationships across the campus.Strong knowledge of strategic financial modeling, analysis, and scenario planningA demonstrated cultural competency and working style that will further the University's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice.Why LesleyLocated in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lesley University is highly regarded for its graduate and undergraduate programs in the human arts of education, the arts, and applied social sciences.
