Vice President Of Finance

About the role:

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for overseeing all administrative, financial, HR, and IT functions within Caring Network.  This role will supervise an Administrative Assistant and HR Director, while also maintaining relationship with third party accounting firm.

Responsibilities:

• Approve, monitor, and manage budgets for all departments of Caring Network’s ministry.
• Work closely with third party accounting firm to ensure all donations are being processed and receipted accurately, and that all accounts payable are being paid and recorded accurately.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of all bank balances.
• Produce and distribute monthly P & L statements for all budgets.
• Manage all aspects of annual audit and 990 submission.
• Manage payroll for all employees.
• Analyze and negotiate yearly contracts for workers compensation, health and dental insurance and liability/property insurance.
• Ensure all information technology needs are met at the most cost-effective rate.
• Prepare membership renewals with professional organizations.
• Monitor and maintain listings on membership and partner sites.
• Ensure all policy & procedure manuals are up to date.
• Maintain and update phone system as needed for office closings, time changes and changes in staff.
• Oversee and ensure the HR processes are effective and compliant.
• Attend weekly Leadership Team meetings, monthly Staff meetings, and quarterly Prayer meetings.
• Provide reports as needed to President.

Candidate requirements:

• A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church
• Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion
• Agree with and be willing to uphold Caring Network’s Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values; Humility, Mutual Respect, Sacrificial Love, Optimism, Excellence, Integrity, Mission Focus, & Perseverance
• Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of Caring Network
• Comfortable with participating in prayer with co-workers.
• Has demonstrated financial management experience.
• Expertise in Excel and Quick books Online.
