Summary
The role will involve collaboration with the EVP for Marketing, the Director of Marketing Services, the VP for Client Relations, and key COCM stakeholders across the company to discover and pursue new business opportunities. The pursuit of these opportunities will involve drafting proposal responses, coordinating and participating in presentations, and coordinating operational inputs (architectural program design review, operating expense estimates, etc.). - Develop and maintain COCM’s database of new business prospects within the HubSpot CRM, including communication with prospects.
- Prepare and update the New Business Prospects Report for monthly meetings of the Business Development, Operations, and Client Relations groups.
- Represent COCM at various national and regional conferences (ACUHO-I, NACUBO, NACAS, NASPA, and others).
- Upon award of a new project, but prior to the execution of a management agreement, coordinate COCM’s work with developers, universities, and owners. Coordination will include working closely with Operations to coordinate operation expense estimates (Opex), the coordination of COCM comments and suggestions to proposed community programs (physical) and designs, and other general operations information coordination on behalf of COCM as the management team member.
- Assist with the marketing, promotion, and execution of COCM’s Fresh Eyes consulting and long-term advising services.
- Collaborate with the EVP for Marketing and Director of Marketing Services in the creation of various marketing pieces and materials, including website content.
- As requested, participate in COCM content marketing activities including blogs, podcasts, and videos.
- As requested, participate in various COCM social media campaigns.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have to be able to tell COCM’s story persuasively in oral presentations via video conferencing and in person.
