As the VP of Digital Acceleration, you will play a pivotal role in driving Labcorp's digital transformation agenda by exploring and assessing new innovation and transformation initiatives that align with Labcorp's strategies and impact EPS. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to analyze the competitive landscape, identify emerging technologies, and develop enterprise capabilities to modernize the business.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Digital Acceleration, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO), is entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Alignment:
- Establish the vision and strategy for the Digital Acceleration team, aligning goals with Labcorp's enterprise strategy.
- Drive impactful change and prepare Labcorp to embrace the digital era.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Serve executive business leaders and IT leadership, acting as an incubation hub for new technologies.
- Foster powerful alliances between executive business and IT leadership.
Innovation and Transformation:
- Explore and assess new Innovation/Transformation initiatives impacting EPS, aligning with Labcorp's strategies.
- Align goals and objectives with enterprise strategy and executive stakeholders.
- Lead the team to achieve its goals and objectives.
Technology Landscape Analysis:
- Analyze the competitive landscape and adjacent industries for emerging technologies.
- Advise senior and executive leadership on novel technologies, influencing change management processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate and partner with cross-functional leadership teams to drive alignment and accelerate initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with partners in corporate strategy and corporate development.
Financial Impact Assessment:
- Develop financial models to quantify the impact of Digital transformation group and associated initiatives.
- Communicate successes to build credibility and secure funding for future initiatives.
Vendor Management and Approvals:
- Review and approve statements of work (SOWs), requests for proposals (RFPs), licensing agreements, and software renewals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience Required: 15+ years
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, talent management, and communication of large complex initiatives.
- Understanding and application of technology.
- Solution design/Architecture experience.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
- Preferred Years of Experience Required: 15+
- Experience with large transformational initiatives, particularly in Cloud, AI, and Healthcare IT.

The Digital Acceleration team serves executive business leaders and IT leadership to accelerate strategic digital business transformation initiatives. As an incubation hub for new technologies, the team aims to make Labcorp less complex, accelerate C-Suite sponsored initiatives, and drive modernization across key focus areas.
