Corporate Procurement is part of a dynamic, well-respected team in the Law and Procurement Department. Our team has a strong reputation established and maintained by knowledgeable team members who deliver category expertise and outstanding customer service. We have great relationships with company leaders and team members built by taking the time to understand their businesses, advising with candor, and providing clear recommendations.

Weyerhaeuser's Corporate Procurement department is looking for a Vice President to help lead a well-established team. In this role you will lead an outstanding team of people accountable for sourcing of goods and services, contract negotiation and administration, and supplier relationship management in support of functional units operating out of the corporate region. You will also oversee the Corporate Real Estate team that is responsible for all aspects of lease administration for company offices in the US and Canada, along with other related activities.

In this role, your essential functions will be to:

  • Partner directly with senior leaders within Information Technology, Human Resources, and other corporate function groups on sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and effective supplier management.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations Procurement to develop procurement strategies and best practices for the company's business and functional groups by leveraging overall company scale.
  • Manage the Corporate Procurement and Corporate Real Estate teams and ensure that team processes are efficient and effective.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain department goals and roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Champion the value of competitive processes (e.g. RFP's), mitigating contract and supplier risk, and maximizing the value proposition realized from the supply chain.
  • Conduct and oversee negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure that suppliers meet contractual obligations.
  • Measure and document team cost savings, cost avoidance, and efficiency improvements in support of company
  • Operational Excellence (OpX) goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • 5 years of experience leading people.
  • 5 years of experience in IT sourcing/procurement roles with solid understanding of IT consulting and software/SaaS licensing.

What We Offer:

 

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $187,208 - $284,655 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 35% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

This position is also eligible to receive $90,000 in restrictive stock units on an annual basis, as part of our Long Term Incentive Plan.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
