Classification: Exempt
Salary: $110,000-$125,000

General Description:
The Vice President, Coding/Auditing Quality Assurance will be motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and highly organized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare a weekly summary of each coding client, any issues that exist/have arisen, and steps taken to address and resolve.
- Oversee off-shore and domestic coding operations at Coronis Health
- Manage and report on QA auditing of offshore/onshore coding operations
- Be a liaison for offshore coding operations.
- Participate on calls with domestic and offshore coding clients and clients’ operational leads, manage client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Address coding quality issues that arise and assist with resolving them, either internally or with the client.
- Perform continuing education with employees both on the field team and training team and intervene when necessary to ensure high quality is maintained.
- Stay abreast of current changes and participates in necessary continuing education to maintain expertise in CMS regulations, ICD-10 coding guidelines, and documentation guidelines
- Maintain current certifications and credentials.
- Apply expertise to assist with development of software including automated processes to improve process performance.
- Ensure the coding team maintains a significant level of competency (>95% coding accuracy).
- Plan, develop and direct the quality improvement strategies for the coding teams.
- Ensure client SLAs are met.
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting to proactively build and maintain a quality team.
- Oversee, manage, and develop methods to train new hires.
- Oversee, manage, and serve as the corporate point person for cancer tumor registry and trauma registry services.
- Execute other necessary responsibilities per business needs.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Experience:
- Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
- Must be able to travel internationally
- Minimum 5 years experience in coding and/or Quality Assurance management
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook and MS Excel, in particular)
- Proficiency in Power Point
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- RHIA preferred, but not required
- AHIMA CCS certification required
- AAPC CPC-H or CPC credential is helpful (but not required) in addition to CCS
- Candidate must have AHIMA or AAPC a coding credentials.
