About ThedaCare!
Summary :
The Vice President, Clinically Integrated Network serves as the senior operational leader for one of the key operational areas reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of the CIN.. Reviews costs, quality, safety, utilization, and value data regularly with clinical leaders, nursing leaders, and health system executives, and is responsible for the dissemination of this information and the development of interventions needed to improve value (cost and quality). Develops, aligns, and mobilizes clinical ladders to successfully achieve clinical, operational, and strategic priorities for ThedaCare. Plays a critical role in the development of strategies involving the design and deployment of clinical resources, the design of alignment options for nurses and other provider groups, and the establishment/management of partnerships as part of a broader clinical integration strategy.
Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develops an innovative care delivery strategy to maximize shared cost and resources and improve the overall patient and provider experience across the continuum.
2. Develops structures, processes, and expectations for clinical input and involvement throughout ThedaCare.
3. Ensures effective technology and processes are in place to foster open lines of communication with leaders, physicians, and team members relating to clinical integration.
4. Engages and communicates with providers in the Clinically Integrated Network regarding participation requirements, clinical performance targets, care gaps and patient engagement opportunities, and clinical programs and resources.
5. Leads and collaborates with physician teams to develop and maintain comprehensive, impactful utilization management programs for each part of the continuum.
6. Leads the development of the business plan of the Clinically Integrated Network operations.
7. Evaluates business opportunities, monitors national and local trends, and maintains contacts in the community and with other health care providers to build innovative partnerships and programs that deliver value in new ways.
8. Develops and consults on programs and services that ensure improved patient-centered care including appropriate preventive services, wellness initiatives, and population health management.
9. Develops and manages a provider engagement and partnership strategy focused on creating a sense of community and improvement in market share, and directs implementation of adequate provider education and training activities for participating providers to ensure provider satisfaction and issue resolution.
10. Works directly with the executive team to identify high impact operational initiatives to support the Clinically Integrated Network.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Masters degree in a healthcare field or business
• Eight years of leadership experience including leading teams and/or projects in a healthcare setting
• Clinical license for related healthcare background as appropriate
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
• Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Normally works in climate controlled office environment • Frequent sitting with movement throughout the office space
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents
• Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients
• Use of computers throughout the work day • Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers
