We are looking for a candidate who has exceptional customer service skills and a great attitude to join our staff. The right person would be compassionate, understanding, and respectful to our clients and their pets at all times.
Previous Veterinary Receptionist experience is required
Our receptionists:
- Make appointments, file, answer phones, accept payments, and balance the cash drawer.
- Have great interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Are able to multi-task efficiently.
- Have good computer skills.
- Must be able listen patiently and relay information accurately.
- Must be a loyal and trustworthy team player.
- Have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, and be able to lift at least 40 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to handle emotional and stressful situations with professionalism and compassion.
A flexible schedule is a must. The schedule would be 5 days per week, including at least two, sometimes three, Saturdays per month. If you are scheduled to work Saturday, you are off another day during the week. We are closed on Sundays. Your schedule would vary from day to day, but the schedule is made a month in advance, so you know exactly when you are working.
