As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for our hospital, providing stellar customer service to pet parents. How can you succeed as a Veterinary Receptionist? You should have a pleasant personality, be adaptable and empathetic. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position! Read on for basic job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the office
• Triage incoming phone calls
• Schedule and check-in appointments for clients to include wellness/sick visits, grooming and boarding
• Manage record requests, patient history, prescription requests
• Assist in obtaining approval and refilling prescriptions according to requests
• Processing financial transactions/end of day reports
• Keep the lobby warm, welcoming & clean

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar Customer Service role
• Hands-on experience with office equipment including Practice Management Software Systems
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Fabulous customer service attitude

Job Types:Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
