Our hospital is run by Dr. Seth Cohn and we work diligently so that the pets and their people who walk through our doors know that we truly care and want everyone to feel welcomed.

As a Receptionist, You Can Expect To…
The role of Receptionist at Douglas Oaks Animal Hospital serves to be the first impression for all of our clients. Routine duties will include: reception for visitors as well as phone calls, clerical responsibilities, provide miscellaneous support to reporting team members, maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, data entry, word processing and mail service.

• Exemplary customer service skills that exceed expectations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• A positive “can-do” attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both with clients and coworkers
• Superb organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications including all MS Office programs

Important Job Requirements Include:

• Regular attendance and timeliness an absolute must
• Full-time hours
• Ability to work 8+ hour shifts, Monday-Friday
• Weekend shifts
• Occasional overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary experience preferred
