Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)

Lake City Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!

Lake City Animal Hospital is a full-service, private practice in Acworth, GA. We are a small, close-knit group of highly trained, experienced veterinary professionals who work together to provide the best possible care for our patients and their owners. We are looking for someone who is passionate about animals and wants to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following job duties:

• Answer telephones on a multiline phone system greeting callers as they come on line. You will be the first person people call when they have a question or need an appointment. You will be the first person people see when they come into the office. You will be the first person who sees patients first before they are scheduled. You will be the first person who sees clients after their appointments are scheduled. You will be the first person who sees records after they are closed. You will be the first person who sees clients for follow up appointments. You will be the first person in reception area greeting visitors as they come in. You will be the first receptionist in reception area and you will help other staff members by answering any questions or providing any information about office procedures or areas of expertise. You will be responsible for answering phones in front desk area as needed. You will assist other staff members by assisting receptionist with answering phones when needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting preferred but not required.
• Experience working with computers preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
