Job Description:

As an experienced Veterinary Receptionist at New Georgia Animal Hospital , you will be the face of our clinic, responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks to help our clinic run efficiently and maintain a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with the veterinary team to manage daily appointments effectively.
• Answer and direct phone calls, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain and update client records in our practice management software.
• Educate clients about clinic services and promote preventive care.
• Manage client inquiries and provide clear communication.
• Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and handling paperwork.
• Collaborate with the veterinary staff to ensure the efficient flow of patients and clients in the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is required.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for animals and a genuine desire to contribute to their well-being.
• Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-pressure situations.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
