Our ideal candidate…

• Values relationships with clients and patients and can be the face and voice of the business. Our receptionist team are every client's first impression of the hospital, and our ideal candidate understands that and desires that level of customer care.
• Is excited and able to learn basic veterinary knowledge such as preventative medication protocols, vaccine protocols, and healthy lab screening protocols. Our ideal candidate is able or excited to learn how to answer client questions about standard healthy care, process prescription labels, package laboratory samples, and discuss estimates with clients.
• Is able to monitor and contribute to our social media accounts. Our receptionist team posts to our Facebook and Instagram accounts with promotions, announcements, and success stories.
• Is able to handle cash and credit card payments with accuracy and timeliness throughout the day. Knowledge of CareCredit and Scratchpay preferred but not required.
• Is able to type at least 40 words per minute and is proficient with email, Microsoft Office Suite, scanners, printers, and multi-line phone systems. Experience with veterinary PMS preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
