Veterinary Receptionist

Seeking an independent, compassionate full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!

Who are we looking for?
Applicants must have a professional work ethic, positive personality, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment, provide a calm demeanor and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to clients.The client service representative is the first person wth whom clients or potential clients will talk to when they call or see when they walk through our door; therefore, you must be courteous and communicative. 2 years of experience in a veterinary client services position is required; this position has the potential to grow into a Lead role if interested!
Salary: The pay rate for this position is $18-22/hr, depending on experience.
Schedule: 35-40 hours per week; weekend availability preferred.
Responsibilities:

• Perform opening/closing procedures
• Help clients check-in, update address/phone #, etc.
• Prepare patient records, consent forms, & so forth for the next day.
• Answer telephone calls and schedule appointments
• Notify doctors & technicians of patient arrival
• Update database for vaccinations, reminders, etc.
• Check-out clients at end of visit, explain invoices/treatment plans
• Keep reception area neat and clean throughout the day
• Help clean exam rooms between appointments
• Call/text clients to confirm appointments
• Perform follow-up telephone calls as directed. Record client feedback, inform Dr.
• General knowledge of over the counter, flea, tick and heartworm products
• Perform other duties as assigned
