We are looking for a motivated and friendly Veterinary Receptionist to warmly welcome clients and patients into the clinic, and assist in making each visit with us top-notch from beginning to end, as well as assisting with various office duties.

A successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Greet all clients that enter the clinic while ensuring that they are comfortable in a clean and welcoming reception area
- Schedule appointments both over the phone and in person, including follow-up visits
- Enter patient information into the system and occasionally request previous patient records
- Communicate seamlessly with veterinary staff members and work together as a team to maintain the highest level of service
- Answer phone calls and transfer calls when needed
- Be able to competently use computers, phones, fax machines, and other equipment
- Assist in email correspondence for the clinic
- Perform designated callback and reminder calls per doctor's/management's request
- Assist in opening and closing duties for the front end of the clinic, including running end-of-day reports
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal husbandry, and medical collection procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care, dog training, pet grooming, animal handling, and pet care is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
