As the Veterinary Hospital Manager, you play an integral role in leading the hospital team and providing excellent care to our pet patients and clients. Our team members hold the highest regard for maintaining a healthy, safe, and cohesive work environment. As the Hospital Manager, you lead by example to ensure its success and manage all aspects of operations and people management within our hospital. The primary duties center around business/P&L management, HR functions, and instituting/maintaining compliance with policies and procedures that ensure safe and efficient practices within the hospital environment. The type of management style that is successful at our practice is coaching/mentorship.
Qualifications
- Experience in a management/leadership role is a plus
- Experience in the veterinary field is required.
- Have empathy and respect towards pets, clients and colleagues
- Able to review, understand and react to findings in financial reports, budgets, and Profit & Loss statements
- Have excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills
- Exercise strong time management skills, being able to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
- Possess a good attitude and contribute to building and fostering a positive work environment
- Have strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
