The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI is hiring a full- time Veterinary Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team!
Schedule Details: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm (4/ 10-hour shifts per week & holiday's as needed)

Must be friendly, professional, courteous, and capable of handling several tasks at once with frequent interruptions. Must be able to take direction from multiple staff members while adhering to training standards.
Essential Functions:
Multi-tasking and attention to detail skills are required. Must have the ability to stand for the majority of the work period and enough stamina to work past the regularly scheduled shifts, if needed.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Restraining of patients
- Cleaning Kennels, Floors, etc.
- Stocking the treatment areas
- Laundry
- Taking patients outside
- Feeding patients

Qualifications:
- Must have worked or volunteered working with dogs and cats at a clinic, Humane Society, Kennel, or similar
