We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Assisatnt/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
- Obtain client information and update patient records accurately
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Provide general information about veterinary services and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems and software applications
- Familiarity with animal handling and basic medical procedures is an asset
