We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Veterinary practice experience preferred but not required. We will provide on the job training. Our opportunity includes the following compensation package:
- $14.00 - $17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
- Full or Part-Time commitment during weekly clinic hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm) and some Saturdays (8:00am – 12:00pm).

The Veterinary Assistant will coordinate with our veterinarians and our practice manager in providing high- quality care to animals and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians during medical procedures such as surgeries, dental cleanings, and vaccinations.
- Taking and recording vital signs of animals, such as temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies used in the clinic.
- Feeding, watering, and exercising animals.
- Cleaning and maintaining the facility to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Answering phone calls and responding to client inquiries and concerns.
