The Area Manager of TGI Friday's will manage a team in their given territory to improve standards as well as maximize productivity, striving to meet sales and revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge in all necessary software that pertains to the operation of the business which consists of time & attendance, sales & labor sheets, safe/drawer counts, end of night financials, floor charts/side work, weekly inventories, and scheduling system.
- Inform General Manager of all developments arising within area of responsibility on a daily basis.
- Motivate supervision and employees to seek improvement in individual performance
- Initiate corrective or improvement actions as needed or upon the direction of the General Manager.
- Achieve financial and budgetary goals in the assigned work area.
- Adhere to and enforce all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrate commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
- Provide a clean, safe work environment at all times and accordance within state and local health regulations.
- Work directly with supervisors teaching them all aspects of the Area Manager position in which they can be considered for future positions.
- Maintain a valid ServSafe Food and ServSafe Alcohol certification.
- Promote strong leadership and interpersonal skills by motivating supervision and associates to seek improvement in performance, obtains the ability to work independently or in a team to assemble a thriving staff and uplifting ambiance in the dining room.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 Years Food & Beverage Experience
- 1-3 Years Food & Beverage Leadership Experience
- Open Availability - Able to work holidays and weekends with a heavy focus on evening shifts in accordance with business operations.
- 21+ Years of age as required to oversee the service of alcohol within the operation.
