Vac Truck Operator

Dekatherm, operating in the Central/Upstate NY area is looking to hire a full-time Vac Truck Operator to run a Hydro-Excavation Vacuum Truck. Clean driving record required.

This position earns a competitive wage of $30-$35 per hour (non-prevailing wage) and posted pay rate on prevailing wage jobs, along with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VAC TRUCK OPERATOR

As a Vac Truck operator, you are an important part of our construction team! With close attention to detail, you operate the equipment needed to complete natural gas pipeline construction projects. No matter what type of machinery you're using, you always put safety first. You find great satisfaction in contributing to our company's success and providing high-quality results for our customers!

QUALIFICATIONS

Are you willing to work outside in all different weather conditions? Do you have a positive attitude? Are you good at working both individually and with others? Can you conduct yourself in a professional manner? Are you punctual and reliable?

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A or B Operator with air brake and tanker endorsement. With safety in mind, must be able to set up and operate hydro blasting equipment, vacuum trucks, and high-pressure sewer cleaning equipment. Must be able to lift hoses weighing up to 80 pounds, stand for long periods and operate waterblast guns weighing up to 20 pounds and generating up to 3500 psi. Must be able set up and operate industrial vacuum trucks which includes lifting, carrying and pulling hoses up to 100 pounds.

WORK SCHEDULE

This experienced machinery position offers stable, full-time work and a schedule of 7 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, plus overtime as needed.
