Essential Job Duties:- Provide administrative support for tracking project and program deliverables, monitoring timelines, delivery deadlines, and process / final reports.
- Work closely with the unit leadership and the college’s administration offices on grant administration and management of revenue-generating activities.
- Assist online professional development programs: participant registration using NC State continuing education systems (Reporter), participant follow-up, certificate distribution, evaluation set up and reporting, enrollment roster archival, and annual report.
- Support in-person professional development activities: event scheduling, speaker agreements, venue selection and arrangements including catering (if needed), participant registration, evaluations set up, and reporting.
- Support NLI projects by following up with prospective and current clients/funders scheduling meetings (online, in-person), and contributing to final reports.
- Collaborate in maintaining and updating the unit’s database of projects, programs, events, and network lists.
- Contribute to the dissemination of print and online materials via website and social media

Minimum Experience/Education:- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, communications, project management, or a related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Google docs, Google Sheets. Gmail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of grant administration.
- Consistent, focused attention to detail. Effective time management. Mature, context-sensitive social skills. Effective, informed communication (in-person, online, telephone, one-on-one, and group) with faculty, students, clients, sponsors, university administration, and funders.
- Project management and accounting skills.
Knowledge of distance education, Moodle, e-learning LMS software.
