User Experience Designer

User Experience (UX) Designers at Hunter Strategy work with stakeholders, developers, and designers to understand the big problems and collaborate on effective solutions. Our UX Designers are engaged in every part of the UX process, including user research, information architecture, content strategy, interaction design, user interface design, and visual design. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years UI/UX experience
• Expert in Design Thinking and building customer centric interface
• Familiarity with Figma

Preferences:

• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Experience with DoD Systems and DoD Requirements Gathering, particularly in 4th Estate or Defense Information Systems Agency

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting the direction of the UI/UX Across Hunter's Key Customers
• Collaborate closely with the Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owner to ensure that stakeholder’s expectations are aligned with product delivered
• Coordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owner on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design, and more
• Develop mockups for development and design teams
• Conduct usability tests on the website and create a report showcasing your findings
• Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management

Location/Worksite:

Primary place of performance is remote but travel to DC Metro Area may be required quarterly for Technical Exchange Meetings.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
