As a US Tax Analyst at BCG, you will be primarily responsible for internal U.S. income tax accounting (ASC 740) and tax return compliance. This role involves a blend of operational duties and project-based work in both domestic and international tax areas. You will work closely with our tax reporting and analysis team, global accounting colleagues, and external advisors, contributing to our dynamic and flexible organizational structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional operational responsibilities would be to assist on several domestic and international tax projects on a recurring basis, which could include any of the following areas:
* Developing tax dashboards, models, and managing databases.
* Analysis of intercompany transactions.
* Support in Federal and State audits.
* Assist with Transfer Pricing documentation, audits, and analysis.
* Identify and implement enhancements to processes and reporting.
* Perform other duties as assigned or required to support the team and organizational goals.

In return we are committed to supporting you in discovering the most fulfilling career journey possible-and unlocking your potential to advance the world. Our team called Global Services (GS) provides corporate support to business areas such as Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing and IT. This diverse team of experts, operators and specialists represent all levels from Partner to entry level staff, operating across the globe in multiple countries. Global Services is in short, the backbone of BCG.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
* 1-3 years of relevant tax accounting or tax compliance experience with increasing responsibilities.
* CPA and/or MST preferred.
* Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Alteryx and Tableau is advantageous.
* Familiarity with tax return preparation software (e.g., CorpTax), tax research software (e.g., BNA), HFM, and SAP is beneficial.
* Proven track record in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within a global accounting or another professional services firm.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Proven strong accounting and outstanding analytical skills.
* Flexibility to work independently or to collaborate with others.
As a US Tax Analyst, you will join a specialized seven-member team dedicated to tax reporting and analysis, within a larger tax department of over twenty-five professionals. Additionally, you'll be an integral part of a wider finance team, sharing common objectives and duties. Your specific responsibilities will adapt based on the broader team's needs, encompassing both day-to-day operational tasks and project-based assignments.
