POSITION SUMMARY
The Urgent Care Coordinator will provide operational support to the functions performed within Urgent Care in support of program objectives and goals. The Coordinator will assist Assistant Vice President, Urgent with organizing and monitoring project plans and initiatives.
This position will be responsible for the maintenance and functioning of the provider scheduling system. In collaboration with the Regional Medical Directors and Urgent Care Medical Director the Coordinator will be responsible for the preparation of monthly provider schedules, communication of schedules and monitoring vacation requests. This position will assist with monitoring key performance metrics and developing standardized reports for the team. The Coordinator will also assist Assistant Vice President with the planning, coordination and participation in community events throughout the region as well as other duties as assigned.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Associates degree required Bachelor's Degree preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: A valid New Jersey license and insurability through AtlantiCare Fleet Policy and provisions required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience required in business operations/environment. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Proficiency with computer applications required. Excellent planning, execution skills and ability to manage multiple projects required.
