Essex County Jail, Newark, NJ
Performs general administrative support to all employees within the nursing unit.
Responsibilities

• Provides general secretarial support.

• Maintains and updates the unit's charts.

• Provides off-site scheduling and transportation.

• Acts as the unit's liaison to off-site providers & facilities.

• Obtains pre-approval for off-site services.

• Provides assistance to Utilization Review.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute.
• Must be familiar with dictation, transcription and copying equipment.
• Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
